Digital Society School contributes to expo Paper Magic

We read books with different purposes. The Unbook, created by researchers from the Digital Society School in Amsterdam, aims to destabilize traditional book reading. It demonstrates how digital technologies are fairly simple to implement in paper and how this can enhance printed media and reading experiences. The book is part of the project Augmented Printing, aimed to contribute to a sustainable printing industry.

The Digital Society School presents different printing prototypes to an academic audience at Paper Magic. This traveling exposition is currently hosted by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. At its university library (free entry) you can see the latest paper innovations from across Europe until January 2020.
